100 million tons of grain transported via the Ukrainian maritime corridor

Since the beginning of the Ukrainian maritime corridor in 2023, 100 million tons of grain cargo have passed through the seaports of Ukraine.

The work of the sea corridor is the result of systemic coordination of the state and the resilience of the maritime industry in conditions of constant risks, the  Ukrainian Seaports Authority reports.

“This milestone demonstrates the indomitability of Ukraine and its ability to ensure stable exports of agricultural products despite a full-scale war and regular enemy attacks on port infrastructure,” the USPA notes.

In total, 168.9 million tons of cargo were transported through the corridor, of which 100 million tons were grain.

The Ministry of Development added that recently the Russian Federation has significantly increased the number of Russian attacks on ships and ports. Only the period from December 2, 2025 to January 12, 2026 (40 days) accounts for 10% of all infrastructure destruction, starting from 2022.

However, more than 40% of cargo transported through the Ukrainian sea corridor was processed in 2025.
