33.8 million tons of goods have already been exported through the maritime corridor
During the 7 months of operation of the Ukrainian maritime corridor, 1,140 ships exported 33.8 million tons of cargo.
During this time, cargo was exported to 40 countries of the world, reports the Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority.
Thus, of the total volume of exports, 23.1 million tons are products of Ukrainian farmers.
“The gradual increase in the volume of transportation clearly confirms the effectiveness of the functioning of the sea corridor, which Ukraine opened 7 months ago on its own, exclusively with the assistance of the United Defense Forces,” the message reads.
Currently, 150 vessels are waiting to approach the ports of Odesa, Chornomorsk and Pivdennyi, which are supposed to export almost 5 million tons of cargo.
It will be recalled that 90% of foreign trade passes through the ports of Odesa region. Against the background of such statistics, positive dynamics of exports from seaports of Great Odesa and ports on the Danube are expected in March.
