400 trucks were stuck on the border with Poland
Three checkpoints on the Ukrainian-Polish border still remain blocked.
Polish protesters continue to block the movement of trucks at the Rava-Ruska, Ugryniv and Yahodyn highways. Andriy Demchenko, the spokesman of the State Border Guard Service, stated this.
In all these directions, Polish farmers do not allow freight vehicles to Poland at all. Several trucks per hour are allowed to pass in the direction of Ukraine.
If under normal conditions the “Yagodin” railway station can pass 1,200-1,400 trucks, then only 70 vehicles passed in the direction of Ukraine over the past day. In total, more than 400 trucks are waiting in queues on these routes.
Queues are also observed on the directions unlocked the day before. This is especially felt at the “Krakivets” and “Sheghina” PEs. As of the morning of April 4, there are about 550 trucks in the queue at the first point, and 450 vehicles in the direction of the second.
As USM wrote the day before, a new checkpoint will be opened on the border with Romania.
