5 more parking lots for transshipment of Ukrainian grain will be built in Constanta
Ukraine and Romania have agreed on the creation of additional anchorages for raid transshipment of grain.
In the Romanian port of Constanta, 5 more anchorages will be built for transshipment of Ukrainian grain. This was facilitated by the joint work of UGA, the government of Ukraine and the European Commission, reports the press service of UGA.
“UGA initiated the creation of anchorages in Romanian territorial waters for transshipment of Ukrainian grain from barges to large-tonnage vessels. This significantly reduces the cost of logistics and will contribute to the development of an efficient route,” the message reads.
Previously, USM wrote that the Ministry of Transport of Romania is preparing to put into operation an anchorage for the simultaneous transshipment of 5 ships. This should contribute to increasing the carrying capacity of the port of Constanta and provide additional loading opportunities for Ukraine
