50 million euros are being raised in Ukraine for the restoration of ports

The government has adopted a decision that will allow attracting 50 million euros for the repair and development of the port infrastructure.

This was announced by the Prime Minister of Ukraine, Denys Shmyhal.

On Friday, August 2, the government adopted a decision that will allow attracting 50 million euros of support from the EU for the repair and development of Ukrainian port infrastructure.

The Prime Minister emphasized that another area of assistance to farmers is logistics.

“The key here is the work of the Ukrainian maritime corridor. This became possible thanks to the success of our Defense Forces in the Black Sea, thanks to export support programs, thanks to war risk insurance,” the official said.

It will be recalled that during the 11 months of operation of the Ukrainian maritime corridor, the cargo turnover of the ports of Great Odesa amounted to 60 million tons. Of these, 40.6 million tons were grain cargoes that were sent to 46 countries of the world.
