The ship sank on the way to Ukraine: there are dead and missing people

A cargo ship bound for Ukraine sank in Turkey. According to preliminary data, at least three people died.
The vessel under the flag of Guinea-Bissau was heading from Iskenderun to the port of Izmail. It sank off the coast of Antalya, the Turkish Coast Guard reports .
After receiving the distress signal, one corvette, seven boats, two helicopters and one aircraft from the Coast Guard were dispatched to the scene.
According to preliminary data, three people were killed and three others were injured. A total of 14 crew members were on board. Currently, an operation is underway to find other sailors.
The shipwreck is the 30-year-old Joe 3 under the flag of Guinea-Bissau. Deadweight – 3400 tons. The Equasis database still lists the vessel as the former Ali Bey registered in Panama. According to the Turkish publication Anadolu, the ship was carrying a cargo of aluminum. Turks are considered to be the owners of the ship.
