Izmail port handled a record number of cargoes

In March, SE “IZM MTP” handled 721.5 thousand tons of cargo — the highest figure for the entire time of the port’s operation.

Izmail port processed a record volume of cargo in March — 721.5 thousand tons. Prior to that, the highest rates of cargo handling were recorded back in 1989. For comparison, at that time the port handled about 585,000 tons on average every month, and the highest figure was 712,000 tons of cargo.

In total, SE “IZM MTP” loaded 88 vessels in March. The volume of exports through the Izmail port amounted to 506.9 thousand tons, imports – 209 thousand tons. This was announced by the director of the port Andriy Yerokhin on Facebook.
