Former employees of the Kherson port are suspected of treason

The Kherson Regional Prosecutor’s Office informed three former employees of the Kherson River Port about the suspicion in absentia.

According to the investigation, three employees of the Kherson river port agreed to cooperate with the occupation authorities. One of them assumed the position of director of the port, the second became his deputy, and the third accepted the position of mechanic of the transport department. This is reported on the website of the Prosecutor General’s Office.

The traitors helped the russians in setting up a pontoon crossing. They also prepared a cargo barge for the transportation of military equipment and took vehicles from the workers for the needs of the occupiers. In addition, the so-called director re-registered the port in accordance with the requirements of russian legislation and tried to introduce russian rubles into circulation.

A pre-trial investigation is currently underway.
