Russia put forward five demands for the continuation of the “Grain Agreement”

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of russian federation put forward new demands for the world. If they are not fulfilled, fussia threatens not to extend the “Grain Agreement” after May 18.

Russia once again accused Ukraine and the UN of ignoring the demands, writes RBK-Ukraine . In particular, moscow published “five systemic problems” that need to be solved. Including:

• reconnect Rossilhospbank to SWIFT;

• resume export of agricultural machinery, spare parts and service;

• cancel restrictions on insurance and ban on access to ports;

• restore the operation of the Tolyatti-Odesa ammonia pipeline;

• unblock foreign assets and accounts of russian companies related to the production and transportation of food and fertilizers.

It will be recalled that on March 18, Ukraine announced that the Grain Agreement was extended for another 120 days. However, Russia stated that they allegedly agreed to extend the agreement for only 60 days.
