In Mykolaiv Oblast, access to Black Sea beaches and forests will be prohibited this summer due to the threat of landmines.

“In Mykolaiv Oblast, access to Black Sea beaches and forests will be prohibited by the military due to the mine threat, and I agree with that. But the internal reservoirs of the region will be available for recreation in the summer,” noted the head of the regional military administration, Vitaly Kim, at a briefing  at the Ukraine-Ukrinform Media Center.

He emphasized that access will not be prohibited in those territories of the region where there were no military operations and there is no threat of mines.
