Kernel will build a terminal in the port of Reni for 10 million dollars

Agroholding “Kernel” plans to build a new transshipment terminal “Reni Terminal Development” in the Reni seaport by the end of 2023.
In this way, the company plans to increase the volume of cargo exports to 600,000 tons per year, Kateryna Spivakova, head of the communications, PR and GR department of Kernel, told Interfax-Ukraine.
According to her, the terminal will be built on a plot of land leased by the holding for 49 years. To implement the project from scratch, it is planned to attract about $10 million of own funds.
It is assumed that after the completion of construction, the capacity of one-time storage of grain and granulated meal at the new terminal will be 9.6 thousand square meters. m, sunflower oil in tanks – up to 6 thousand tons.
The design capacity of reception is up to 2 thousand tons/day of grain and meal, up to 1.5 thousand tons/day of oil. The simultaneous loading front will be designed for two river vessels.
