Zelenskyy commented on the ban on the import of grain from Ukraine
The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, believes that there is “politics” in the decisions regarding the ban on the import of Ukrainian agricultural products.
“I’m grateful to the neighbors who support us, but to be honest, there’s politics involved. We have the Black Sea blocked and we need help with weapons. We cannot risk relations with some countries,” Volodymyr Zelenskyy said in an interview with Italian media, writes Open4business.
According to the head of state, some political currents are using this situation and “coaxing” farmers to block grain supplies.
“But they have no right to block transit. We will solve these issues,” the President of Ukraine emphasized.
As previously reported by USM, in May 2023, Ukraine exported 1.45 million tons of grain. In total, in the current season, Ukraine exported more than 43 million tons of grain.
