The passenger boat will once again sail through the Dniester Liman

A new season of passenger transportation from Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi to Ovidiopol will begin in the near future.
The Odesa and Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi military administrations have already signed the order to open passenger services across the Dniester estuary.
“In view of the great demand and the successful practice of 2022, this year we decided to open a passenger water service on the route Ovidiopol – Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi. The hydrofoil passenger ship will depart from Berth No. 1 in Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi to the Nova Prystan Berth in Ovidiopol at least three times a day and three times in the opposite direction,” reports the Odesa District Military Administration.
Up to 50 people can use the boat’s services for one flight.
The carrier company “Nibulon” carried out the necessary work on the preparation of the vessel, depth measurements and trawling of water areas. The date of resumption of communication has not yet been announced.
As previously reported by USM, in August 2022, the Nibulon Express-4 hydrofoil made its first voyage through the Dniester Liman. Thus, for the first time since 2004, the shipping connection between Bilhorod-Dnistrovsky and Ovidiopol was restored.
