The court annulled Sevmash’s permit for subsoil use in the occupied Crimea

The court invalidated the permission documents of one of the largest shipbuilding complexes of the Russian Federation for the use of subsoil in Crimea.

According to the lawsuit of the prosecutor’s office of the Republic of Crimea, the court annulled the permission of the Russian company “Production Association “Northern Machine-Building Enterprise”, also known as “Sevmash”, to extract minerals in Crimea. This was reported by the prosecutor’s office of the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol.

We will remind you that permission documents were given to the Ukrainian branch of “Sevmash” — the health and treatment center of the boarding house “Severny” even before the occupation of the peninsula.

“Production Association “Northern Machine-Building Enterprise” is the largest shipbuilding complex in Russia. This is the only shipyard in the Russian Federation that builds nuclear submarines. After 2014, the company operates illegally in the occupied Crimea and provides the needs of the aggressor’s navy.
