Russia continues to block the “grain corridor”

In June, the Joint Coordination Center did not carry out any inspections of vessels within the framework of the Grain Agreement, due to sabotage by representatives of Russia.

Since June 1, three vessels have arrived at the port of Chornomorsk, and none at the ports of Odesa and Pivdennyi, Andriy Klymenko head of the Monitoring Group of the Institute of Black Sea Strategic Studies informed .

He noted that on June 5, perhaps one ship will go to Chornomorsk, but it will be waiting for the raid from June 3.

Also, as of June 5, no ships have yet been recorded that left the Bosphorus in the direction of the ports of Great Odesa. Probably, they will not be there tomorrow, June 6.

“It seems that the Russian Federation really wants to get to know the members of the new government of Turkey in this way,” added Klymenko.

Therefore, the situation is such that it is high time to decide together with Turkey and Romania how to ensure the functioning and safety of ships going to Ukrainian ports for grain, without the participation of the Russian Federation, the expert summarized.
