In Kherson, rescuers are collecting an oil slick that leaked as a result of the Russians blowing up the Kakhovska HPP.

“This morning, we fixed a large oil stain that leaked from the engine room of the Kakhovska HPP during the terrorist attack. Rescuers are currently collecting this oil so that it does not get further into the reservoirs,” said the Minister of Internal Affairs Ihor Klymenko on the air of the telethon.

Water is taken from all wells on the territory of Kherson region. Fences are also carried out in the Dnieper estuary and on the Black Sea coast.

Investigative groups, criminalists, sappers are starting to work from today. We have prepared 33 sapper calculations that will inspect all 55 high-rise buildings, all industries that are on this territory and which, of course, are mostly destroyed,” Klymenko added.
