Dive under water: SOF soldiers captured occupiers in Kherson region (video)

Ukrainian soldiers captured the occupiers who remained in flooded positions after the terrorist attack on the Kakhovska HPP.

“Having blown up the Kakhovska HPP, the Russian command did not consider the lives of its own personnel in any way. After all, after the water was spilled, dozens of the invaders remained cut off from large areas of land in flooded positions in the Kherson region,” reports the 73rd Naval Center for Special Operations named after Kosh Ataman Antin Holovaty on its Facebook page.

One of the positions of the occupiers was submerged under water, having received information about the possibility of capturing the enemy, the SOF soldiers went to them.

Five enemy fighters were loaded onto boats.

“At this time, the enemy hit the boats from other positions. Despite this, all the prisoners were brought alive to the coast. Soldiers of the SOF of Ukraine were not injured during the mission,” the maritime center notes.

Already on the shore, during a conversation with the captives, SOF operators found out that the occupiers belonged to the “Storm Z” unit. These units are staffed by the Russian Ministry of Defense according to the same principle as the “Wagner” formation: the basis is made up of convicted Russians serving their sentences in prisons. They are promised amnesty for their participation in the war against Ukraine.

As previously reported by USM, on the night of June 6, the Russian invaders blew up the Kakhovska hydroelectric power station (HPP).
