Kubrakov: the Russians are openly sabotaging the Grain Agreement
The work of the Black Sea Grain Initiative is actually stopped due to the fact that representatives of Russia in the Joint Coordination Center (JCC) are openly sabotaging ship inspections.
Currently, the carrying capacity of the corridor is less than 20% of the possible, writes Minister of Community Development, Territories and Infrastructure Oleksandr Kubrakov in a column for NV.
“This leads to significant losses not only on the part of Ukraine: the world has not received at least 20 million tons of agricultural products due to Russian sabotage of the grain agreement,” Kubrakov emphasized.
At the same time, the minister noted that the Ukrainian economy requires the opening of Ukrainian seaports for all types of goods.
“This is a fairly simple formula – our economy is export-oriented, a working economy is the state’s ability to pay salaries to defenders, provided, equipped defenders is the way to victory. “The Russian Federation perfectly understands the connection of these things, that is why it attacks peaceful cities and enterprises,” the government official said.
At the beginning of June, representatives of Russia at the SCC resumed the registration of the incoming fleet in violation of the permanent algorithm of registration and inspection of vessels.
