Low-quality boats could be supplied by the Armed Forces of Ukraine for 443 million

Additional agreements to the state contract for 443 million hryvnias were declared invalid in the court of Kyiv. We are talking about a contract with a private company that built low-quality boats, the Prosecutor General’s Office reports.
It was possible to establish that a private company undertook to build boats and put them in service with the defense department.
“Contrary to the law, the parties concluded additional agreements to the state contract, which unjustifiably changed the technical design of special purpose products. This led to the construction of boats that the Armed Forces could not use,” the agency explained.
To fulfill this contract, the Ministry of Defense paid the state budget in the amount of UAH 443 million.
