The government plans to create new export routes for Ukrainian grain
The agrarian committee proposed a new draft law to the parliament, which provides for the creation of new routes for the export of grain.
The Agrarian Committee recommends that the Parliament adopt draft law No. 8025. The document provides for the creation of new export routes, the development of land corridors and the attraction of investments in the agricultural sector, the press service of the Verkhovna Rada reported.
According to the draft law, international organizations will be able to help export Ukrainian food. Foreign partners will be given the opportunity to negotiate “green” corridors with the governments of other countries. Export logistics will be created with the help of donor funds, investments and grants from international partners. It is expected that the initiative will help to export food from Ukraine faster.
“The state will attract funds. Entrepreneurs will be able to get them by submitting an application to the State Agrarian Register. Funding will be directed to the construction of railway elevators, automobile multimodal complexes and grain containers. In this way, the agricultural sector will be able to build new logistics and unload existing routes,” explained Oleksandr Haydu, head of the Parliamentary Committee on Agrarian and Land Policy.
