The damage to the Crimean Bridge significantly complicated the logistics of the Russian invaders.

The recent destruction of the Crimean bridge is a significant blow to Russia, as it disrupts the supply lines of the occupying forces, said Vadym Skibitskyi, representative of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

“The bridge is a complex structure, but there is an opportunity to strike it and prevent, first of all, the logistical military support of Russian troops on our territory,” Skibitskyi said.

The official recalled that Russia started the construction of an illegal structure across the Kerch Strait after the failure of the so-called “New Russia” operation. The plan of the Rashists envisaged the creation of a land corridor from the territory of the Russian Federation to the peninsula in the first years of the Russian-Ukrainian war.
