The Russian Federation is preparing a provocation in the Black Sea

The United States believes that a terrorist country may be preparing an operation under a foreign flag in the Black Sea.

Against the background of shelling of the civilian port infrastructure of Ukraine, Moscow may be preparing an operation under a foreign flag in the Black Sea, Ukrinform reports.

“The Russian Federation is obviously preparing an operation under a foreign flag. They threatened vessels operating in international waters, after which the attack on the Danube occurred,” said Matthew Miller, a spokesman for the US State Department.

At the same time, the United States continues consultations with partners regarding alternative ways to export grain from Ukraine. Miller emphasized that an ideal solution, which would allow Ukraine to ship the same amount of grain as during the Grain Agreement, without renewing sea routes, is “simply impossible.”
