Defence Intelligence: barriers around the Crimean bridge will not help the Russians

The barricades installed by the occupiers around the Crimean bridge will not be able to protect the illegal construction.
The barrier barriers that the Russians are installing around the bridge across the Kerch Strait to protect it from naval drones have no strategic effect. Andrii Yusov, a representative of the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications, stated this.
“The structure, in principle, is made from improvised materials, it is not high-tech. And in the end, strategically it will not affect anything. But people are running, fussing, it’s interesting to watch,” Yusov noted.
The representative of the Defence Intelligence emphasized that the invaders have already repeatedly declared about the “maximum security” of the Crimean Bridge. However, there have already been two incidents during the year that caused significant destruction of the logistics route.
“Similar excesses will continue in the future – until Ukrainian territory is de-occupied, and illegal structures, including the one they call the Crimean Bridge, are dismantled,” the politician concluded.
The Defence Intelligence also stated that, despite the brutal repressive machine of the Russian Federation, the activity of the civil resistance movement in the occupied Crimea is increasing.
Earlier, the Defence Intelligence stated that the damage to the Crimean Bridge on July 17 significantly complicated the logistics of the Russian occupiers.
