In July, Russia earned $15 billion from oil exports
Revenues of the Russian Federation from the export of oil and oil products in July increased by 20% compared to June – up to 15.3 billion dollars. This is a new “record” for Russian exports since the beginning of the year.
Although this is the highest since the beginning of 2023, it is still 20% less than last July, according to Bloomberg.
The volume of Russian oil exports in July remained stable at the level of about 7.3 million barrels per day. Russia compensated for the decrease in crude oil exports by 200,000 barrels per day by increasing the flow of oil products.
At the same time, the price of Russian Urals oil exports rose to $64.41 per barrel in July, for the first time exceeding the price limit set by the G7 countries and the European Union at the end of last year.
According to the agency, this increase in prices reflects tensions with the supply of certain grades of oil after the OPEC+ countries decided to further restrict exports.
