Pakistan is not satisfied with Russian oil
Pakistan temporarily stops importing Russian oil. At the same time, the country hopes to conclude a new agreement with Moscow “at preferential rates.”
Pakistan stops importing Russian oil. This decision is related to the fact that the amount of aviation and diesel fuel extracted from Rosneft is very low, writes the Pakistani publication ARY News.
Sources in the energy industry report that local refineries have refused further processing of Russian oil. It is noted that during the processing of Rosneft, Pakistan received 20% less gasoline, compared to Arab crude oil.
Pakistani oilmen stressed that the attempt to process crude oil imported from Russia “has been successful” and Russian crude oil will be processed again when it “becomes available on favorable trade terms.”
