The head of the State Property Fund Umyerov has resigned
The head of the State Property Fund, Rustem Umyerov,has resigned gis position.
On September 4, the head of the , Rustem Umyerov, submitted a resignation letter, the Verkhovna Rada reported .
The application will be considered at the next plenary meeting.
Earlier today, the Minister of Defense of Ukraine, Oleksiy Reznikov, resigned. It is planned that Rustem Umyerov will replace him in this position.
Umerov was appointed head of the State Property Fund in September of last year.
Rustem Umyerov (41 years old) is a politician and businessman of Crimean Tatar origin, a People’s Deputy. He earned a bachelor’s degree in economics and a master’s degree in finance at the National Academy of Management.
Since 2020, he is the co-chairman of the Crimean Platform deputy association in the Verkhovna Rada. He was a member of the Ukrainian delegation at the negotiations with Russia.
Before Umerov’s appointment, the State Property Fund was headed by Olga Batova. She resigned in July last year.
