The most promising is the Danube corridor – Kuleba
Ukraine and the USA plan to develop the Danube grain corridor as the most promising.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs Dmytro Kuleba stated that the positions of Ukraine and the United States regarding grain exports “absolutely coincide”, writes Ukrinform.
“We believe that the most promising is the Danube corridor, and we will work on its development,” Dmytro Kuleba emphasized at a joint press conference with US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken in Kyiv.
We will remind that as a result of Russian shelling of port infrastructure, grain storage in warehouses on the Danube becomes extremely risky. As a result, the shipment of wheat for export switches to direct transshipment. At the same time, port attacks increase freight costs. Accordingly, exports by sea become less profitable compared to supplies by land.
