“Nibulon” is ready to participate in demining the water areas of Ukraine
“Nibulon” believes that the next important stage will be the demining of waterways. More than 50% of water areas are already available for demining.
Recently, for the first time in Ukraine, the Demine Ukraine Forum was held, dedicated solely to issues of humanitarian demining. The forum was attended by Mykhailo Rizak, director of interaction with authorities and issues of sustainable development of “Nibulon”.
According to him, in addition to land demining, the next important stage should be the demining of waterways. This will have a positive effect on the economics of transportation of grain and oil crops during export operations.
So, earlier the leader of grain transportation was the Mykolaiv port hub, which provided more than 30% of exports. Currently, the waterways to it are mined.
“At the same time, more than 50% of the water areas of Ukraine have already been de-occupied and are available for demining. Time to act! After all, it is water logistics that can give Ukrainian farmers that additional profitability potential that can be directed to the development of production,” Mykhailo Rizak shared.
He noted that in the case of demining water areas, there is already a powerful internal resource.
“Nibulon” is capable of very quickly setting up the production of platform ships for underwater demining sappers, which were developed by our designers. It’s just a matter of a request from the state. We are ready to provide the State Emergency Service and the State Special Transport Service with the necessary means to make our rivers and ports safe. Such platforms can also be exported even under the current conditions,” emphasized Mykhailo Rizak.
