Medvedchuk bought a yacht “on the outside” for over $9 million

Viktor Medvedchuk, former Ukrainian People’s Deputy, oligarch and “Putin’s best man”, bought a new yacht worth more than 9 million dollars.
A year after the exchange, Viktor Medvedchuk purchased a Pershing 9X high-speed yacht, according to a rosZMI investigation.
The cost of the yacht is 9.6 million dollars. The manufacturer, the Italian Ferretti Group, calls the vessel a “fighter”.
The 28-meter yacht has four cabins with 8 berths. In total, the vessel can accommodate up to 20 people.
According to the publication, the yacht Amore Mio is completely new, it was launched this year. It passed the Russian customs on July 26. The ship approached the Russian waters under the flag of Palau, while its sender is the company Lavel Fzco from the UAE.
The recipient of the yacht in Russia is Renesans JSC. According to the audit report dated February 24, 2021, the beneficial owner of the company was Ukrainian citizen Oksana Marchenko, Medvedchuk’s wife. The company issued a “temporary importation” of the yacht. This procedure is used if the stay of the goods in the customs territory is impractical on a permanent basis. In addition, it partially exempts the declarant from paying customs fees.

We will remind, the oligarch and people’s deputy from the OPZZ party Viktor Medvedchuk was extradited by the Russians in September together with 55 Russian military personnel, in exchange for more than 200 Ukrainian defenders and 10 foreigners who fought on the side of the Armed Forces.
Earlier, Medvedchuk was charged with part 1 of article 111 (treason), part 1 of article 258-3 (supporting a terrorist organization) and part 1 of article 438 (looting national values) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The oligarch appears in criminal cases related to oil and gas production in the Black Sea, as well as facilitating the activities of a terrorist organization through the supply of coal from the occupied territories of eastern Ukraine.
