North Korea has increased the supply of weapons by sea to the Russian Federation.

According to US and South Korean officials, since August 2023, the port of Raison (DPRK) has been regularly visited by Russian ships. This is reported by The Edge Malaysia.

So, North Korea sent approximately 2,000 containers to Russia from the Rason port in North Korea. They probably supplied artillery shells and short-range missiles.

Meanwhile, in September, North Korean dictator Kim Jong-un discussed with Russian President Vladimir Putin the restoration of the stalled joint logistics project in Rason. Totalitarian countries are also planning to build a new road bridge.

It is worth noting that the activity near the Tumangang station in Rason, which has a rail connection with Russia, increased even at the end of 2022. However, after the visit of the Russian Defense Minister to Pyongyang in July, an increase in the number of carriages was noticed at the station.

For its part, Russia exported 67,300 barrels of refined oil to the DPRK from December 2022 to April 2023.
