Bulgaria allowed the import of Ukrainian grain, but with additional conditions
The Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine Mykola Solskyi and his Bulgarian colleague Kyryll Vatev agreed on the terms of applying the licensing regime for the export of sunflower, rapeseed, corn and wheat seeds.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture of Bulgaria, import and exchange of data between the two countries continues.
“The Ministry of Agriculture and Food kept its promise until November 30 to limit the import of these agricultural products as much as possible in accordance with the Memorandum concluded between the government and the Initiative Committee of the protesting farmers,” the Bulgarian minister noted.
He added that after the end of this period, both countries will strictly monitor that there are no distortions in the market, and that the interests of Bulgarian producers, processors and consumers are not undermined.
