The IMO adopted a resolution on supporting the Ukrainian maritime corridor
The International Maritime Organization (IMO) will help Ukraine stabilize the operation of the new grain corridor.
This is stated in the address of the President of Ukraine olodymyr Zelenskyy.
“The Assembly of the International Maritime Organization adopted a resolution supporting our efforts in the Black Sea, Ukraine’s success in restoring shipping and the work of the new grain corridor. By the way, this export corridor has already produced results – more than 7 million tons of cargo,” said Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
The head of state also emphasized that now the International Maritime Organization will support Ukrainian efforts. The appropriate decision is in place – to assess what technical assistance Ukraine needs for the normal operation of the maritime corridor.
