Export by water transport increased to 4.3 million tons in November
The export of Ukrainian agricultural products by water transport has grown to a record level since April this year.
In November, export shipments of agricultural products by water transport increased to 4.3 million tons — a record monthly figure since April this year, according to Spike Brokers analysts.
In particular, 2.7 million tons were sent for export through the ports of Great Odesa, and 1.6 million tons through the ports of the Danube.
“Freight rates have remained remarkably unchanged. There is already a limited offer of the sea fleet for the transportation of goods from the ports of the Black Sea. At the same time, the supply of the fleet for transportation on the Danube steadily exceeds the demand for transportation, which led to a slight decrease in freight rates compared to last week,” the message reads.
