Sea exports of fuel from the Russian Federation increased by 8.5%
Exports of Russian diesel and gas oil by sea increased to 2.8 million metric tons in November.
In November, sea exports of diesel fuel and gas oil from Russian ports increased by 8.5%. Currently, this figure is approximately 2.8 million metric tons of raw materials. This was reported by Enkorr with reference to the London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG).
We will remind you that earlier the Russian Federation temporarily banned the export of diesel fuel in order to eliminate its shortage in the domestic market. The Russian Federation lifted self-restrictions on November 22. Thus, in the first three weeks of November, diesel production at Russian refineries increased by almost 11% from the average level of October — to 238,120 tons per day, Reuters writes.
According to LSEG, no less than 0.93 million tons of diesel fuel were loaded in Russian ports in November, mostly in the Baltic port of Primorsk. Most shipments of this cargo will arrive at Brazilian ports in December.
At the same time, last month, about 550,000 metric tons of diesel and gas oil from Russian ports went to African countries: Libya, Togo, Ghana, Senegal, and Ivory Coast.
Another 155,000 metric tons of DP Russia have been planned for ship-to-ship transshipment near the Greek port of Kalamata. The final destinations of these cargoes are currently unknown.
