“Nibulon” will file a lawsuit against Russia for compensation of 400 million dollars
As a result of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation, “Nibulon” suffered more than 400 million dollars in losses and will file a lawsuit for their compensation.
Currently, only 32% of Nibulon’s pre-war capacities are functioning, company owner Andrii Vadaturskyi said in an interview with Forbes.
According to Vadaturskyi, before the full-scale invasion of Russia, the main focus of “Nibulon” was directed to the construction of terminals, the fleet and the development of transportation through the Dnieper. This logistic model is currently not working.
“Even the very fact that the Russians blew up the Kakhovska HPP will block the use of the Dnipro for 5-15 years. That is, the whole concept, on which 1,000 people worked for more than 15 years, does not work today,” said Andriy Vadaturskyi.
Earlier, the general director of the Nibulon company stated that the company suspended the mill construction project at its “Bessarabska”branch due to military risks.
