The Russian company KMZ presented the “Dandelion” attack marine drone, similar to the Ukrainian marine drones.
Russia has ordered 10 such drones, «Militarnyi» reports. It is reported that the tests should take place directly in the war zone against Ukraine.
As the publication notes, the lack of a camera will probably prevent the use of a drone against maneuverable surface targets. Experts assumed that its purpose would be to damage static objects, such as bridges and ports.
It is reported that the drone can carry a warhead weighing up to 600 kilograms. In turn, the Ukrainian SeaBaby drone, which hit the Crimean bridge in July 2023, had 850 kg of explosives on board.
