North Korea has transferred more than a thousand containers with additional weapons to Russia by sea.

The United States has information about the delivery of more than a thousand containers of ammunition from the DPRK to the Russian Federation. US Ambassador to NATO Julian Smith stated this, Ukrinform reports.

“We have new information that North Korea has recently delivered additional weapons to Russia for use in the war against Ukraine. According to our information, the DPRK handed Russia more than a thousand containers of military equipment and ammunition,” said the US representative.

Smith also said that the American side has satellite images as confirmation of the information. The photos show the movement of containers from North Korea to the Russian Federation on cargo ships.

The US will continue to monitor the development of the situation and detect any attempts to supply arms to the Russian Federation.
