Last year, Odesa region ports handled more than 50 million tons of cargo, which is 15% more than in 2022.

More than 400 ships were loaded in the ports of Odesa region during the functioning of the “corridors”, said Oleh Kiper, the head of Odesa Regional Military Administration.

“For the most part, it was the export of agricultural products destined for various countries of the world, including Egypt, China, the USA, Tunisia, Spain, Italy, Greece, Turkey, Romania, Algeria, the Netherlands, Bulgaria, Pakistan, and Belgium,” the official said.

He also noted that in February they should calculate how much “the state has earned from the fight against “black grain”.
