Ukrainian exports through Romania increased to 3 million tons per month
The monthly export of Ukrainian goods through Romania increased from 2 million tons to 3 million tons.
The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy had a conversation with the President of Romania Klaus Iohannis. This was announced in the Telegram channel of the head of state.
“Monthly Ukrainian exports through Romania increased from 2 million tons to 3 million tons, and we discussed ways to increase the capacity of border crossings to reach the target of 4 million tons,” Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.
It will be recalled that after Russia’s withdrawal from the Grain Agreement, the export of Ukrainian grain was reoriented to the Danube ports. Against this background, Romania has become the main transit site for grain from Ukraine.
