Britain has announced a tender for maritime drones for Ukraine
Great Britain opened a tender for the purchase of equipment within the framework of the International Fund for Ukraine (IFU).
Among other things, the state is looking for maritime drones for Ukraine, according to the website of the British government.
As part of the tender, Britain will accept applications from manufacturers from all over the world.
So, to strengthen Ukraine’s capabilities at sea, Britain is looking for:
• small boats for crews, 12-18 m long;
• inflatable boats with a reinforced hull, length – 5-10 m;
• marine underwater unmanned reconnaissance systems;
• sea surface unmanned vessels;
• sea attack drones;
• marine unmanned systems for demining.
It will be recalled that Great Britain will spend 514 million dollars on the modernization of the missile system, which is currently used by the country’s fleet to shoot down drones in the Red Sea.
Earlier, USM reported that Defense Intelligence opened a new fundraising for maritime drones. The agency encourages collecting exclusive postage stamps dedicated to Ukrainian scouts.
