Korean investors are considering the possibility of privatizing the Odesa region port

Bilhorod-Dnister port was presented as an object of privatization to the Korean company SsangYong.

The State Property Fund of Ukraine held a meeting with representatives of the Korean company SsangYong, the agency reports.

Large-scale privatization objects were presented to foreign partners, including the Odesa Port Plant and the Bilhorod-Dniester Sea Trade Port.

During the meeting, the representatives of the company were told about the mechanisms of privatization and lease of real estate, explained the legal restrictions on the use of objects, and the time frame for completing the necessary procedures.

“Representatives of the Korean company SsangYong expressed interest in further cooperation. Foreign partners have shown interest in the privatization of real estate, warehouses and land leases. The parties agreed on further meetings and the development of specific technical tasks,” the State Property Fund noted.

We will remind you that in 2023, six auctions were held for the privatization of the Bilhorod-Dnister port, all of which turned out to be unsuccessful.
