Japan introduced sanctions against the Russian Atomic Fleet


Japan imposed sanctions against 12 individuals and 36 legal entities associated with the aggressor country.

In particular, the company “Atomflot” was sanctioned, the head of the Office of the President, Andriy Yermak said.

“Sanctions include freezing of assets, blocking of accounts, and export restrictions,” he noted.

Sanctions were also imposed against Tinkof Bank, Novator, Aeroscan, Kalashnikov, Uralvagonzavod and Almaz-antey.

In addition, Japan banned the import of diamonds from Russia.

Earlier, USM reported that the Russian icebreaker “Yermak” caught fire in the Russian port of St. Petersburg – allegedly during welding work.
