In Russia, the Commander-in-Chief of the Russian Navy, Admiral Nikolai Yevmenov, was dismissed, rosZMI reports.

According to the publications, the commander of the Northern Fleet, Oleksandr Moiseyev, was appointed acting commander-in-chief.

The press service of the Navy did not officially comment on the information about Yevmenov’s resignation.

It will be recalled that Nikolai Yevmenov has been the Commander-in-Chief of the Russian Navy since May 2019. After the start of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, Yevmenov came under the sanctions of the United States, the European Union, Great Britain and other countries.
