Korea can help Ukraine purchase port equipment and fleet

Korea is considering the possibility of providing immediate assistance to Ukraine in acquiring the necessary port equipment and fleet.

The parties discussed the joint comprehensive development of the port infrastructure of Ukraine during the meeting, reports the Ukrainian Sea Ports Authoritry. 

We are talking about the post-war reconstruction of Ukraine in the maritime sector. As well as the help of the Korean side in the development of the ports of the Danube cluster, digitalization of port management processes, modernization of the “Kilia” shipyard, etc.

“Also, the Korean side is considering the possibility of providing immediate assistance to Ukraine in acquiring the necessary port equipment and fleet,” the message reads.

As previously reported by USM, the heads of the defense departments of South Korea and the United States agreed to strictly combat the supply of weapons to the DPRK to Russia.
