Ukrzaliznytsia sent more than 1.4 million tons of grain for export
Since the beginning of March, 85% of all grain cargoes have been transported to the ports by rail.
As of March 14, since the beginning of the month, Ukrzaliznytsia exported more than 1.4 million tons of grain. Rail.insider writes about it.
1.2 million tons of grain, or 85%, were transported to the ports. The rest of the agricultural products — 207,000 tons — were sent to the western border crossings.
Compared to the same period in February, the total export of grain decreased by 85,000 tons. The volume of transportation to the ports decreased by 39 thousand tons, and in the direction of the western border crossings – by 46 thousand tons.
Also, the volume of grain loading decreased by 37 thousand tons — to 1.4 thousand tons. In the total load, the share of cereals is 22%. The average daily indicator of loads decreased to 113 thousand tons — 7.2 thousand tons less than in February.
The day before, USM wrote that agricultural exports at the borders with the EU reached the lowest level since the beginning of the war.
