UDS “Captain Antipov” steamship is being modernized in Vienna
This will be the first capital modernization of a self-propelled vessel in the modern history of “Ukrainian Danube Shipping”.
Major modernization of the Ukrainian ship “Captain Antipov” will take place at the Austrian shipyard ÖSWAG. This was reported in the press service of the UDS.
The ship will be replaced by engines. A few months before, the ship was being prepared for modernization in Ukraine, which significantly reduced costs. The ship’s hull was completely cleaned and painted, the propeller-rudder complex, pumps and mechanisms were restored.
It is reported that the modernization of other self-propelled vessels of the UDS will continue according to the example of “Captain Antipov”.
