The chief ombudsman of Turkey visited the port of Odesa

On Monday, March 25, Odesa Port was visited by the Chief Ombudsman of the Republic of Turkey, Sheref Malkoc, and the Commissioner for Human Rights of the Verkhovna Rada, Dmytro Lubinets.

The guests saw with their own eyes the destruction of the port infrastructure from the attacks of the aggressor, reports the Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority

“Despite the systematic drone and missile attacks, Ukrainian ports continue to work and provide the world with food,” USPA emphasized.

Sheref Malkoc expressed support for Ukraine in its struggle for independence and assured the full support of the Turkish government in free navigation in the Black Sea.

As previously reported by USM, the port of Odesa received modern equipment from Japan. This is a Komatsu WA320-5 wheel loader, which will enable restoration and reconstruction of the port infrastructure
