UDS launched another SLG-class barge

“Ukrainian Danube Shipping” announced the launch of the third SLG barge.

Currently, the company is ready to build up to 10 barges per year with the possibility of increasing volumes by 20%, the press service of the UDS reported.

The company also reminded that last year it carried out a significant amount of repairs of its own fleet and is currently completing the formation of a self-propelled fleet reserve for transporting up to 200,000 tons of cargo per month.

“Finally, we have the opportunity to accept the fleet of other enterprises and companies as well. The order is there, the plant is equipped with work,” the UDS noted.

Previously, USM reported that the UDS steamship “Captain Antipov” was being modernized in Vienna.
