Ukraine and Poland held talks on unblocking the border

Officials and representatives of specialized associations were involved in the negotiations.

During the meeting, representatives of Ukraine, Poland and the EU discussed the issue of unblocking the border and finding common positions to resolve the crisis. This was reported in the press service of the Ministry of Reconstruction of Ukraine.

It is noted that the negotiations lasted more than 6 hours.

“It was a difficult but frank conversation between ministries and associations. It is important that solutions have already been discussed, which will be announced soon. At the same time, the issue is difficult for all parties and requires additional time. I thank each of the partners for their personal involvement in the process of finding solutions,” commented the Minister of Agricultural Policy of Ukraine, Mykola Solskyi.

The day before, the Minister of Agriculture of Poland Czeslaw Siekersky expressed hope that there will be no need to ban the transit of Ukrainian agricultural products.
