The rate of export of Ukrainian grain doubled
The pace of grain exports from Ukraine at the beginning of April 2024 is already twice as high as in the same period last year.
As of April 8, since the beginning of the 2023/24 FY, Ukraine exported 36.439 million tons of grain and leguminous crops. Of these, 1.58 million tons were shipped at the beginning of April, the Ministry of Agrarian Policy reported with reference to the data of the State Customs Service.
For comparison, on April 10, 2023, the total figure of shipments was 38.824 million tons, of which only 848 thousand tons of grain were sent in April.
In terms of crops, since the beginning of 2023/24 MY exported:
• barley — 2.105 million tons (at the beginning of April — 143 thousand tons);
• wheat — 14.316 million tons (474 thousand tons);
• corn — 19.724 million tons (961 thousand tons).

Previously, USM wrote that Ukraine plans to export a total of more than 60 million tons of agricultural products in the current season.
